Are you working in an under-resourced neighborhood in the Twin Cities? Are you eager to see your community be a place of health, safety and opportunity for everyone who lives there? We need your voice at the table! You are invited to a conversation about our communities: what we're doing well, and what we could do better. CCDA's Noel Castellanos, Richard Twiss and Leroy Barber will be present to listen and learn from you.

Dr. John Perkins came home from the hospital last week after undergoing surgery for abdominal pain. His family expressed thanks for all your prayers and asked that you pray for continued healing in Dr. Perkins' body. Also, please pray for the entire family and the ministry in Jackson, MS. Our beloved founder, Dr. John M. Perkins was admitted to the hospital on January 17, 2012 with severe abdominal pain. Dr. Perkins underwent surgery on Friday, January 20 and remained in the hospital for more than a week after. He is still in the hospital recovering. Please keep his healing in your prayers. If you are still interested in applying for CCDA's next Leadership Cohort, there's good news. The application deadline has been extended to January 15th, 2012. The Leadership Cohort is an opportunity for you to journey with 20 other passionate CCD leaders (ages 25-40) over a two-year period. It is an "iron sharpens iron" type of formation. After a year's battle with cancer, CCDA founder and friend, Glen Kehrein, slipped into the arms of God just before 10:30 pm Saturday night, November 12, 2011. His loving wife, Lonni, held him in her arms, and his daughter Tara, held his hand. He was surrounded by other loving family and friends. Leave your thoughts/prayers on our memorial page.

Close to 3,000 attendees have descended on Indianapolis for CCDA's 2011 National Conference. On opening night, Rev.
