Volunteer

We are no longer accepting applications to volunteer at the 2010 CCDA National Conference. If you have questions about a volunteer application, please send an email to volunteer@ccda.org.

We are expecting over 3,000 people from all over the world to attend the 20th Anniversary CCDA National Conference in Chicago this September. An event of this magnitude would not be possible without a team of dedicated and hard-working volunteers. Volunteers serve in many vital roles, from greeting attendees as they arrive to assisting workshop presenters to helping with childcare while parents enjoy the conference. There are opportunities for people of all ages, abilities and interests to serve the CCDA family at this event.

A sample of volunteer roles:

• Pre-Conference:
• Promotion Street Team
• Set-up and Signage
• CCDA Conference Prep Volunteer Day (Saturday, August 28th)

• During Conference:
• Registration
• Hospitality
• Workshop Aide
• Child Care

• Post Conference:
• Clean-up
• Data Entry

As a THANK YOU to those who give their time and energy to help, volunteers receive a reduced registration rate of $25. We require that volunteers commit at least ten (10) hours of service to the conference to qualify for the reduced rate.
